A living history of New America Fellows’
big, bold ideas.
The New America Fellows Archive is home to the great ideas developed by the journalists, scholars, filmmakers, artists, and policy analysts who produced them.
The collection contains more than 200 works—from books to films to longform journalism to podcasts—and new ones are added as they are published or released.
From recognizable names like the New Yorker’s Rachel Aviv, Patrick Radden Keefe, and David Rohde, to a new generation of public intellectuals like Julian Brave NoiseCat, and Clint Smith, the Fellows are telling stories that are shaping national conversations and, ultimately, helping us understand ourselves.
To date, our Fellows have gone on to produce:
Founded in 1999, New America’s Fellows Program invests in great thinkers—journalists, scholars, filmmakers, and public policy analysts—who generate big, bold ideas that have an impact and spark new conversations about today’s most pressing issues.
